by on November 26th, 2014 in Campus Events

Ayers Career College participated in the “Walk to Cure ALS” which was held on October 18, 2014 at the Boardwalk in Bossier City, LA. This event was held to raise money for the Louisiana-Mississippi chapter of the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association. Students and staff members got involved by holding a series of fundraisers, including a pancake breakfast, bake sale, and spaghetti lunch, leading up to the day of the walk.

Ayers Career College walked in honor of Mr. Jimmy Roberts, a very close friend of Mr. Deverts (back row, red shirt). Mr. Deverts is a former instructor and program coordinator for our Heating and Air Conditioning Program. [below]
