HVAC students troubleshoot A/C issues

by on August 4th, 2015 in Heating & Cooling Training Student Testimonials

Much of the training you’ll do at Ayers Career College is hands-on in our program labs, which are set up to mimic real life scenarios you might encounter while out on a job. Our HVAC lab is no exception. In this setup, Jeff Huffman and Steve Coleman use a multimeter to troubleshoot a condensing unit, while their instructor Maurice Jackson gives instruction so they can learn how to get the job done right! He will step in when needed, or is there to answer questions, but it’s up to the students to troubleshoot and resolve the issues.

MA Students Practice Blood Draw Skills

by on July 17th, 2015 in Student Testimonials

Recently, the Medical Assistant class practiced drawing blood in the MA lab. This class is not for the squeamish! If you’re interested in helping people in the medical field, there are several options. Get your hands dirty (well, not really, you should always follow your sterile techniques!) as a Medical Assistant. . . .or be the person that helps keep the every day going-ons of the office sailing smoothly as a Medical Office Specialist. Either way, you’re doing your part to help your neighbor in their time of need!
