The CompTIA Security+ is a global certification that validates the baseline skills you need to perform core security functions and pursue an IT career. CompTIA Security+ establishes the core knowledge required of any cybersecurity role and provides a platform for intermediate-level cybersecurity jobs. Security+ integrates best practices in hands-on troubleshooting to ensure security professionals have practical security problem-solving skills.

This course provides review and instruction in network security and hacker deterrent methods. Students will gain the knowledge and understanding of the security concepts, tools, and procedures to react to security incidents and fully anticipate security risks and guard against them.

Ayers CompTIA Security+ Certification Information:

Program Length: The CompTIA Security+ Certification Prep Course is taught two evenings a week, in a period of four weeks, for a total of 48 clock hours.

Graduates of the Security+ Certification program will be familiar with the terms used in a security-based context, will be able to protect systems against privacy and integrity threats, and proactively safeguard against potential security threats. Upon completing this course, the student will have the skills to complete the CompTIA Security+ SYO-601certification exam.
