PT students work on lab assignments to fill Rx requests

by on December 8th, 2015 in Student Testimonials

Students in the Pharmacy Technician program work in the PT lab, under the direction of program coordinator Loretta Richardson, in a Pharmacology II lab session. In this lab, students work to fill required prescriptions by finding the correct Rx drug on the shelves, counting tablets, and labeling bottles. Hands-on labs like these prepare our students for their careers as Pharmacy Techs, where they will work under the direction of a licenses Pharmacist to help provide medication and other health care products to patients.
