HVAC-R Tech training

To be considered for any HVAC-R career, you will need to have completed a training program that concludes with a certificate or college degree. How long does it take to become an HVAC technician?

We know that not everyone is on the same schedule. Therefore, we have several different class schedule options that you could choose from. We offer both day and evening classes. Our day program takes only 36 weeks to complete, while our evening program can be completed in just 60 weeks.

Job Outlook and Salary

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, job growth within the HVAC field is expected to be 15% for the 2016-2026 time period. This represents a much faster growth than can be seen in many other career fields. Additionally, the salary within the field is competitive, with the median salary for HVAC technicians at $47,080. Now,  job requirements for an HVAC technician will vary by position since HVAC systems are becoming increasingly more complex. However, many companies now require new hires to complete HVAC training from an accredited school.
