Chris Rinaudo Honored as 2019 All-Star Instructor for Ayers Career College

Ayers Career College staff and instructors recently attended the 19th annual conference of the Louisiana Association of Private Colleges and Schools on Friday, April 12th.  The conference was held at the Hilton Capitol Center Hotel in Baton Rouge, LA.  The instructors attended three educational sessions throughout the day and also visited exhibitor booths sponsored by companies representing learning resources, student financing, and certification testing. Heating and Air Conditioning instructor Chris Rinaudo was honored as the All-Star Instructor for Ayers Career College for 2019.

Chris was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, and is a third generation HVAC Technician with a family history in the industry that goes back to 1950. Chris feels he received his true calling 5 years ago when he began his teaching career in the HVAC Program at Ayers Career College. He discovered that working with students and being a part of their career success is challenging and rewarding, and he can’t imagine doing anything else!

We want to congratulate Chris for his hard work and dedication to our students. Thank you for all you have done for us, and for our students. You work tirelessly to help out our students reach their career goals, and we can’t thank you enough! Congratulations!

Ayers Career College is hosting “Bring A Friend to School Day” on Wednesday May 3rd!
This is a great opportunity for our students to bring someone interested in attending school. Show your friends what you are learning on your journey to a new career, and introduce them to your instructors, classmates and other staff!
“Bring A Friend to School” will take place on Wednesday, May 3 from 8:30 a.m. until 10:50 a.m.
Students wanting to bring a should should sign-up & register with the admissions office. You can find a sign up sheet in the school lobby.
Admissions, Financial Aid and Career Services will be available to answer any questions that our guests have about enrolling in class at Ayers!
We’re looking forward to a fun day of sharing the Ayers experience with your friends!

Come ‘shop’ in this fun dress boutique experience! Just bring a letter from your teacher, counselor, or principal to participate in this fun and respectful shopping experience!

2017 LifeShare Blood Donation Drive Schedule

Did you know: it takes several hundred blood donations every week to meet the needs of patients in our area!? LifeShare Blood Centers will be at the Ayers Career College campus several times this year collecting blood donations to help fill the community’s blood supply. LifeShare will arrive on campus around 9:45am for setup of the mobile donation center.  To ensure efficiency, donor safety, and to provide a good experience for everyone, students can schedule a donation time to give a blood donation between 10:00am – 1:00pm.

Westwood Elemetary School Supply Donation Drive: July 18 – August 9, 2016

YEEEE HAAAAA…! We are collecting school supplies for Westwood Elementary Cowboys! The school supply collection is from July 18, 2016 – August 9, 2016 and we will deliver supplies to the school August 12.

Westwood Elementary has won many awards in the last couple of years for their scholastic improvement, and they have an award winning principal, Rene Ellis (they call her Sheriff Ellis!)

Ayers Career College will be collecting school supplies to be donated to the students at Westwood Elementary school. All school supplies will be accepted, however the students are in most need of #2 pencils and wide-ruled loose paper.

Here is a general list of school supplies most often needed by students:
