Electronic Technician

Start a Career as an Electronics Technician in Less Than a Year!

Since the Electronics Technician program was started at Ayers Career College in 2012 we have been training students interested in electronics and computer technologies to start their career in a field that offers the opportunity to work with computers, security systems, electronics…and more!

Electronics Technicians typically work on the installation, service, and repair of fire and alarm systems, computer networks, audio, and video equipment (including stereos and home theater or surround-sound systems) and installation of cable or internet services. Electronics Technicians are already in great demand in a variety of different fields, including television and internet carriers, home security companies, electronic and appliance stores, or even building contractors

Program Length: 36 weeks (49 quarter credit hours)

Class Schedule: Day classes available.
Classes meet Monday – Thursday from 8:30 am – 1:50 pm

Curriculum: The Electronic Technician program covers a range of topics, including the theory of electronics, electric circuits, microprocessors, computer technology, service, and installation, control systems, and soldering, among other topics in the multifaceted electronics field. And, as part of every program’s curriculum, Career Development courses are also available to our electronics tech students.

Tuition: Costs for this program covers classroom, laboratory, and externships.
