Ayers Career College has built the following courses in order to better support and prepare high school students for the careers of their choice as they graduate high school. Ayers Course Choice Offerings:
Business Math
Business Math is a math course that focuses on the day-to-day application of mathematical skills. If you’ve ever asked “Why do I need to learn this?” in a math class, this class has your answer. Students will learn how to convert fractions to whole numbers and vice versa, how to determine percentages and ratios, how to multiple and divide large numbers, and much more!
Backed by a team with over 50 years of educational experience, this course was designed just like our programs – with as little wasted time and effort as possible. Every lesson, assignment, and exam is working towards a common purpose, and that purpose is preparing each student with the arithmetic skills they need to be successful in any career.
Business English
Business English teaches students how to communicate in a wide variety of professional settings. Our focus is on reading technical writing for a purpose, using that technical writing appropriately, and generating technical writing that is easy for anyone to follow. Students will predominately be working with non-fiction texts that are designed to be used for a specific purpose, such as technical manuals or instructional guides.
This course was built to support students whose interests are greater than fiction reading and writing. Our students are focused, determined, and ready to tackle any project. We want to guide them to the tools they need to be successful and ensure they are prepared to use those tools in any situation.
